We’re looking for a Licensed Funeral Director who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting families during one of the most important times in their lives.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Work directly with families to help plan and personalize funeral arrangements
- Coordinate all aspects of the funeral service, from logistics to timing
- Prepare the deceased for burial or cremation with care and professionalism
- Collaborate with clergy, musicians, and other service providers
- Offer support to grieving families with empathy and understanding
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a funeral home setting
- Valid Funeral Director license (FD1, FD2)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable using technology
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts
Pay: $42,500.00-$85,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ottawa, ON K2P 1A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Funeral Home: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Funeral Directors License (required)
Work Location: In person
