Maintainence Technician

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and Repair industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and automated systems
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, technical and mechanical problems and resolve deficiencies in a timely manner to minimize down time
- Fabrication of customized equipment and tooling
- Work in a team environment as well as independently
- Follow all established company policies regarding Health & Safety (Lock Out, Tag out, and Fall Arrest)
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Multi-task between equipment breakdowns and other projects
- Communicate equipment issues, part requirements with other members of maintenance team
**Qualifications**:
- Secondary School completion is required
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification (433A) is an asset
- Experience as an industrial mechanic (At least 2 years)
- Minimum 3-5 Years Experience troubleshooting Automated machinery
- Experience with fabrication (Welding)
- Experience and knowledge of Industrial Safety Protocols (fall arrest, Lock-out Tagout, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
