THE TEAM
The mission of the IT Solution Delivery Department is to provide technology solutions that unlock business value while delivering excellent end-user experiences.
THE OPPORTUNITY
THE ROLE
As the QA Automation Engineer, you will:
- Implement structured testing that ensures functionality and identify and address deficiencies.
- Implement a combination of manual and automated testing to ensure full test case coverage.
- Define our test architecture, develop test scripts, and execute testing.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate test scenarios.
- Launch and maintain technology solutions for concierge technology.
- Help resolve any defect escalations and identify reoccurring quality assurance issues.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The QA Automation Engineer has:
- Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
- Degree in computer science or similar degree preferred but not required.
- Experience with automated testing platforms (Cypress etc.)
- Experience with Javascript and React is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Github actions or similar CI tools.
- Experience with Jira or similar agile project management tools.
- A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
