The Autobody Repair Technician will be responsible for all aspects of automotive body repair and preparation on heavy duty transit buses including sheet metal work and fiberglass repairs in a busy heavy duty transit bus repair facility.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Repair and refurbish heavy duty transit bus body and structure
- Perform automotive priming and painting
- Complete collision, sheet metal and fiberglass repair.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Automotive Body Shop Technician with 3+ year's experience
- Experience with MIG welding and Plasma cutting would be considered a strong asset
- Previous experience with sheet metal repair, fiberglass body panel repair and collision repair
- Basic automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Knowledge in basic computer usage
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in enclosed spaces
- Ability to work unsupervised in all aspects to work in a fast paced environment
- Motivated self-starter with high levels of initiative
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong initiative and providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a professional attitude.
- A talent for critical thinking and problem-solving, with a demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
