The company currently owns and operates millions of square feet of industrial, office, retail and residential properties, plus holds numerous parcels of land slated for future development. They are currently looking for a Junior Planner to join their dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Compile and analyze data on demographic, economic, legal, political, cultural, sociological, physical, and other factors affecting land use
- Assess value of land, building, structures, machinery, equipment, and property improvements for purposes of taxation, grants, and regional planning prior to sale or purchase
- Review and analyze data such as past sales, title searches, engineering and alignment maps, soil maps, subdivision plans, water, and sewer plans, leasing cost data, and easements
- Assist senior management with ad hoc projects
- Review and evaluate proposals for land use and development plans and prepare recommendations
- Assist with compilation of reports and coordinating business activities
- Keep up to date and informed with relevant legislation
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings

**Qualifications**:

- You will have completed a degree or certificate program in Engineering, Architecture, Planning or other Construction related field of education at an accredited institution
- Demonstrated history of high professional and personal standards
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Project.
- Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to write correspondence and make presentations in a professional manner is a must
- High level of attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
