**Job Summary**

Must have min 3 to 5 years experience with Single & Double Drop 53' Flat Deck, Must know how to tarp strap etc and fill paper work. Must have Passport and be willing to go to USA and be away for a week or so at a time if need. We run across Canada and USA. Need clean 5 year abstract.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy trucks and vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on highways and local roads.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, including minor automotive repairs as needed.

**Skills**
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with a valid commercial driver's license (1).
- Experience operating forklifts for loading and unloading freight is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair principles for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to manage various types of freight safely and efficiently during transport.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes and highways.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
