**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers and HVAC systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues in gas systems.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to gas line installations and repairs.
- Utilize welding techniques for necessary repairs or installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Provide maintenance services to ensure optimal performance of gas appliances.
- Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or renovations involving gas systems.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of service activities.

**Skills**
- Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices related to gas systems.
- Experience in welding for installation or repair tasks.
- Strong knowledge of boiler operations and maintenance requirements.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their components.
- Previous mechanic experience is a plus, particularly in relation to gas appliances.
- Skills in appliance repair, ensuring safe operation post-service.
- Understanding of construction processes as they relate to gas system installations.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for efficient troubleshooting and repairs.

**Requirements**:

- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Valid Gas Technician Level II (G2) license

- 313A or 313D Registered Apprentice
- 2 - 3+ years experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.70-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Gas Technician II License (required)
