**Position**: Barista/Cashier

**Shift Availability**:

- **Weekdays**: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Weekends**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

**What You’ll Do**:
At A Kinder Cup, you'll be the face of our mission, ensuring every customer experiences our commitment to quality and kindness. Your role will include:

- Crafting and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision.
- Operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Engaging with customers to offer recommendations and answer questions about our coffee.
- Creating beautiful latte art and ensuring consistency in beverage presentation.
- Preparing and assembling a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared to maintain food safety and quality.
- Customizing orders to meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift.
- Assisting with prep work, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables, and preparing sauces and spreads.
- Handling food safely by adhering to health and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborating with your team to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Restocking ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the day.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborating with your team to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy times.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, and following proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participating in training sessions to deepen your knowledge of coffee, brewing techniques, and equipment.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
- Conducting daily inventory counts and reporting to management for replenishments.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Prior experience as a barista in a coffee shop.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Attention to detail to ensure each beverage meets our quality and presentation standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
