Apex Educational Consulting Services Inc. is hiring experienced Child and Youth Workers to provide home-based and community services for individuals with autism in the GTA. All staff will be under the supervision of a BCBA and/or Senior Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement prescribed behaviour management strategies to address various maladaptive behaviour, including aggression, defiance, self-injury, and property destruction.
- Following a person-directed plan to teach various life skills, including self-care, community participation, home skills, and school readiness.
- Input session notes according to AECS standards, as well as collect and graph data when required.
- Collaborate with team members in program and goal development.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma/certificate related to Child and Youth Work
- Background in Applied Behaviour Analysis an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in working with severe teens.
- Able to work independently
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Access to a vehicle is an asset
- Vulnerable Sectors Check

Rate:
$25.00-$33.00 per hour, depending on performance, plus bonuses

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $25.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
