Maintenance Facilitator

Fern Resort is looking for someone who enjoys working with a dynamic team in a fun and casual environment to maintain the standards of the resort while following safety regulations set by the resort and other Government organizations to ensure the resort is in proper running order. JOB SPECIFICATION
- Maintain the running order and standards of the resort while following all government and company safety regulations
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.(toilets, a/c units,broken items in guest rooms and all common areas)
- Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment
- Installs equipment and appliances
- Daily checks of maintenance log to address items that need to be fixed
- Reports any issues to the maintenance manager(s)
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed
- Can follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager(s)
- Collaborates with the maintenance team
- Experience with Pools and Spas maintenance
- General carpentry, plumbing and electrical knowledge is a must
- Valid G drivers licence and clean abstract
- To be reliable, honest, hard working, and flexible

Shifts are 8:00am to 4:30pm

Fern Resort is open 365 days a year

May be required to work elsewhere on the resort

Note that Fern Resort is not on a Bus line. Therefore a vehicle is a must.
