Acoustic Consultant

Location: Port Moody, BC or Victoria, BC

**The role**:
BAP Acoustics Ltd, a full-service acoustic engineering consultancy, is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join our friendly team. This full-time position will be based in our Port Moody, BC location in the Metro Vancouver area, with hybrid work as a potential option.

**What you’ll contribute**:
While day-to-day work activity includes an element of autonomy, most projects entail a collaborative effort to deliver end products to our clients. Examples include the creation of:

- various test, measurement and noise impact reports
- documentation required in submissions to municipalities
- comprehensive acoustic design reports for design teams

***What you’ll need**:
***Qualifications & Experience**:

- At minimum, a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, preferably with an acoustics element
- Up to five years of experience that includes noise measurement, sound insulation testing, sound propagation modelling, HVAC noise control etc.
- Experience in:

- noise impact assessment

Finite element analysis skill is advantageous
