We are looking for a motivated, hard-working Shipper Receiver to join our team.

DUTIES:

- Reporting to the Plant Manager and in keeping with Health and Safety regulations, perform on-site all shipping and receiving duties
- Determine optimal methods of shipment
- Prepare complex bills of lading and other required shipping documentation
- Package goods for shipping with accurate identifying information
- Load and unload delivery trucks using safest, most efficient methods
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, communicate any discrepancies
- Follow up with Purchasing Department when necessary to ensure all PO details are accurate and complete
- Unpack and route specific goods to appropriate on-site locations in a timely manner
- Document all movement of parts/materials using appropriate tracking
- Pick and bill out parts to proper projects in a timely manner.
- Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
- Know and abide by safe storage and handling procedures (WHMIS)
- Ensure shipping/receiving areas are organized at all times
- Paint touch-up on machine parts as needed
- Cross-train in and provide back-up support to other areas in department
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner internally and externally
- Contribute to the entire Shop team’s success
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Three or more years of industry warehouse shipping/receiving experience
- Certified or have experience operating a forklift
- Proficiency with MS Office, on-line shipping websites, and ERP software required
- Ability to seek out inefficiencies and create new solutions
- Confident in 100% accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Ability to speak and write clear, fluent English
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical lifting required 70 lbs
- Positive, can-do attitude and team player
- Reliable and able to commit to a full-time Mon-Fri work schedule with occasional overtime
- True interest in providing internal and external customer service, desire to learn more
- Very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and interruptions.

Security Background check to work in our Controlled Goods workplace.

Three month probation period.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
