Position Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for the completion of daily inventory control tasks including (but not limited to) regular cycle counting, bay maintenance, damage repairs for shipments, and all other inventory control-related activity.

Shift: Friday - Monday 5am - 1pm

Specific Responsibilities and Functions:
- Reserve and full pick cycle counting- Bay maintenance- Damage repairs for shipments- Updating inventory discrepancies- Assist with the safe and cost-effective operation of Inventory and all related activities and processes- Ability to execute tasks in all warehouse environments and temperature zones- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Working Conditions:
- Must have the ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet using an Order Picker machine (includes a harness)- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and follow-through on given tasks.- Must have the ability to be certified on all necessary equipment.- Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently and within a team environment.- Must have exceptional problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.-
- Ability to perform duties in all environments (Grocery/Cooler/Freezer) required.

Additional Details:
- Employees are hired on a full-time basis. However, given the nature of the position, an employee’s hours of work will be irregular. Your hours of work may be scheduled on any day of the week (Monday through Sunday), with varying shifts.- During peak seasons, scheduled overtime is required, and may include up to 13 hour shifts.- There is a 30-minute paid lunch for an 8-hour shift and 40-minute paid lunch for a 10-hour shift.- GFS Delivers every day of the year, as we are a 24/7 operation. Employees must be flexible to work all Statutory Holidays, however, this does not necessarily mean that employees will be required to work all of them.
