**Role Overview**
As a Rebar Detailer Lead, you will play a dual role: producing accurate shop drawings and bar lists for rebar fabrication while overseeing construction projects from planning through close-out. You’ll act as the technical link between customers, engineering teams, and on-site crews, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

**About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include**:
**Detailing & Documentation**
- Produce shop drawings and bar lists based on plans, bid documents, and project specifications
- Verify all contractual information (drawings, addenda, specifications)
- Maintain meticulous records: daily reports, change orders, extras, billing, and claims
**Project Planning & Scheduling**
- Define project scope and develop detailed work plans and resource schedules
- Prepare and manage project budgets, negotiate change orders, and backcharges
- Conduct post-project debriefs and prepare status reports
**Team Coordination & Client Liaison**
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, labourers, subcontractors) for effective collaboration
- Serve as the primary client contact: provide regular progress updates, address concerns, and facilitate kick-off/follow
- up meetings
- Spend time on-site building relationships with Forepersons, Superintendents, and subcontractors
**Quality, Safety & Risk Management**
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as company safety guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent
- 3-5+ years’ experience in rebar detailing and/or rebar construction project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with aSa, RebarCAD or Soule is an asset
- PMP certification is an asset
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
