**Maintenance Technician**

**Hillcore Atlantic Retirement Living Ltd. (“HARL”) **is a leading owner of seniors living properties in New Brunswick. In our four Greater Moncton locations, we take pride in providing the highest standards of quality service and care for our residents. We have an immediate opening **for a Full-time Maintenance Technician** who will oversee the brand new building in the Moncton area. The role will report directly to the General Manager.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling, and life safety systems are inspected, repaired and maintained
- Perform small repairs such as doors, windows, plumbing and flooring
- Painting duties
- Respond to emergency situations as required
- Maintain the attractive appearance and appealing atmosphere of the buildings
- Contract, monitor and inspect the work of external contractors

**Experience/Requirements**
- Five years experience in the maintenance of commercial properties with a preference to multi-unit residential
- Hands on experience in plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, appliances, etc.
- Knowledge of major building systems - boilers, HVAC, kitchen equipment etc.
- Experience in managing external contractors
- Excellent trouble-shooting abilities
- Computer literacy with Microsoft office and electronic systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Own transportation
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccinations
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
