Crop Sales Specialists

**Wanstead Farmers Co-operative Co., Limited.**_ _has an opportunity for two motivated _**_Crop Sales Specialists _**_to join our expanding team. As a _**_Crop Sales Specialist_**_,_**_ you will_ _have_ _the opportunity to develop and deliver agriculture innovation for our customers to enhance our farm owner profitability._ _This is a full-time position with benefits and flexible hours. The co-op offers ongoing training and skills development for this position._

**Position responsibilities**:

- Manage, develop and sustain good relationships with current agronomy customers including crop planning, sales calls, field scouting, soil testing and agronomic consulting.
- Collaborate with the Wanstead Farmers Co-op agronomy team to develop prospective customer strategies and opportunities.
- Stay up to date on current agronomic practices and local crop conditions.
- Collaborate with other departments within the co-operative to seek value-added opportunities for members and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and field events.

**Position requirements**:

- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently (self-starter) and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and up to date drivers abstract required.
- Strong computer skills.
- Post-secondary education in agriculture, or three or more years of relevant experience preferred.
- Have or committed to obtaining the certified crop advisor (CCA) designation within three years.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
