We are looking for a talented Draftsman to join our team in Acheson. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and preparing engineering designs and drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring that they meet specifications and design data requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to create manufacturing specifications and address production issues promptly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and prepare drawings, plans, diagrams, or layouts from sketches.
- Operate computer-assisted design software, particularly SolidWorks.
- Create design sketches and complete documentation packages.
- Verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Design teams to gather inputs for manufacturing specifications.
- Address production issues and ensure manufacturing specifications align with capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Engineering Technology or Drafting.
- Trade certification for draftspersons preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of SolidWorks experience with standardized drafting practices.
- Ability to develop accurate manufacturing specs and partner effectively with internal customers.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant computer software.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity.

**Work Conditions**:

- Use of desktop computers and peripherals.
- Implementation of designs may require physical activity.
- Exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
