Pursuit Health Management is a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation firm located in London, Ontario, providing services throughout Southwestern Ontario. Our healthcare professionals include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Social Workers, Nurse Case Managers and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants.

We are seeking a full time **Kinesiologist or PTA/OTA** to work in our multidisciplinary clinic in London.

**Responsibilities**:

- Within a clinical setting, assist the Physiotherapist with the treatment of all types of impairments including neurological, vestibular, orthopedic, musculoskeletal and chronic pain
- Instruct clients on the use of assistive devices and provide gait/balance training
- The Kinesiologist or PTA/OTA is responsible for monitoring the progress of clients and reporting progress to the Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Create treatment plans and update exercise sheets
- Work autonomously in a variety of settings including the community, client’s home or local gyms, delivering services to clients by following the treatment plan of the Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
- Ensures the safety, comfort and privacy of clients
- Contributes to operational efficiency and program development
- Performs administrative duties as needed including screening clients for COVID 19, taking payments, scheduling appointments and other general office duties
- Ensures treatment area cleanliness, including laundry
- Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of equipment
- Inventory of clinical supplies

**Skills**:

- Demonstrates understanding of the principles of rehabilitation and the rehabilitation process
- Knowledge of anatomy, common injures and diseases, basic stretching and strengthening exercises
- Demonstrates a commitment to client centred care and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of an accredited Kinesiology Degree Program or OTA/PTA Diploma Program
- Minimum of 2 years recent related experience gained in a private clinic, community rehabilitation, hospital or long-term care setting
- Ability to efficiently speak, read and write the English language
