Title: Personal Support Worker

Location: Peterborough, ON

Type: Casual/Part Time

Rate: $20-23/hr.

Timings: Morning, Afternoon & Night

Agile Healthcare seeks several Personal Support Workers for home care and long-term care facilities. As an PSW, you will provide assistance to patients requiring various types of care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care services to clients, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and exercising.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in conversation, and participating in activities with them.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly used and stored.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including infection prevention and control measures.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized institution.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Covid vaccination
- At least 1 year of experience as a Personal Support Worker.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexible availability

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lindsay, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PSW Certification (preferred)
- Vulnerable Sector Check/Police Verification Check (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid (preferred)
