**Summer Student-Building Services**

**Why you’ll love this role**:
This is an
**exciting summer opportunity** for a student looking to obtain experience within building services, maintenance, or the trades. This position is based out of Empire Life's Kingston office where you will work alongside our building services team.

**What you’ll be working on**:
- Outdoor maintenance and assisting with the repair and maintenance of building services, equipment, and other trades.- Painting, landscaping and other building maintenance- Routine preventive maintenance and performing monthly maintenance checks- Inventory organization and management

**What you’ll need to have**:
- Working towards the completion of a community college diploma or university degree- Currently recognized as having full-time status by the academic institution- Returning to full-time studies in the next academic term

**It would be nice for you to have**:
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks- Clear reading, writing, listening and verbal communication skills- Attention to detail/accuracy- Ability to work independently and as a team member
