The Home Building Centre Lindsay is a retail location for all building materials, lumber, home improvement materials & custom build packages.

**Job description**

We are seeking an individual to join our yard staff team You will be responsible for helping customers by loading materials into their vehicles, maintaining and keeping the lumber yard clean, as well as completing a variety of tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide friendly and efficient service to each customer
- Provide information about the products and services if requested
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Assisting customers with loading their purchases in the most effective manner

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in customer service, lumber yards, or other related fields is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends
- Have a driver's license at a 'G' level

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Hardware & Lumber Retail: 2 years (preferred)
