**Purpose**:
The Service Assistant will provide support to the Service Technician (licensed gas fitter) with the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of propane and fuel equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial establishments.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the propane and fuel distribution industry.

We are willing to train and upgrade the skills of the right individual, and the pay will reflect their skills and contributions to the team.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assist our Service Technician with inspecting, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial propane equipment.
- Assist with preventative maintenance solutions and schedules.
- Assist in operating crane trucks and other service vehicles for tank installations, relocations, and pickups.
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of fuel equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations under the guidance of the Service Technician.
- Collaborate with service coordination for routing and scheduling information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist in maintaining good customer relations.
- Be flexible to travel to different locations within the assigned work area/region.

**Required Skills and Qualities**:

- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about propane and fuel-related equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and customer service.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Class G driver's license (minimum)
- Must have a clean drivers abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
