Shipper/receiver

**Overview**

The Shipper/Receiver will coordinate and execute shipping and receiving duties. This position will also include organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse. Shipper/Receiver will report to the Vice-President and Administration.

**Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)**
- Responsible and timely loading and unloading of product
- Operating forklift
- Ensure proper safety protocols are being followed in the warehouse
- Maintaining organization of the warehouse
- Record keeping of seed lots being shipped and received
- Ensuring proper tag requirements are attached to product being shipped
- Completing all paperwork required for product being shipped or received
- General Maintenance of warehouse
- Interaction with clients and truckers
- File BOL’s and report to Admin

**Experience**
- 3+ years of shipping/receiving

**Requirements**:

- Class 5 Drivers License

**Training**: the following are required, and Forty Mile Turf Seed will provide these courses for those who still need them or need re-training:

- Forklift operator ticket
- First Aid
- Load securement
- WHMIS

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)
