Aquatics Manager
MUST HAVE VALID NATIONAL LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATE.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Manager to oversee our aquatic facility. The Aquatics Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons, managing staff, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to educate and train staff members.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the aquatic facility
- Train and educate lifeguards and swim instructors on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service
- Schedule and supervise lifeguards, swim instructors, and other aquatic staff
- Conduct regular audits of equipment, pool chemicals, and safety equipment
- Monitor pool water quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate aquatic programs and events
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety, and lifeguarding practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and train staff members
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $19.60 per hour
