Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely, and lottery
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to customers

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or cashiering preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate effective time management

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ponoka, AB T4J 1J8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
