**Job Details**:
Yard Maintenance is vital to our Greenhouse Operations to prevent against pest habitation and maintain grounds for professional appearance. We are currently looking to fill two Yard Maintenance Summer Positions to join our team.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintain the grounds around each greenhouse location
- Lawn care including trimming and edging around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Extensive weed whipping
- Ditch maintenance
- Cleaning loading gutters and drains
- Driveway repair
- Clearing litter
- Basic maintenance on equipment
- Assisting with other maintenance issues when needed

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be able to perform physical labour daily
- Able to frequently lift 30lbs
- Ability to operate and/or maintain various light equipment and tools is a definite asset
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety shoes are required
- Must be minimum of 16 years old
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays depending on company needs

**Working Conditions**:

- Working outdoors will be exposed to extreme heat or all other weather conditions
- Walking and standing throughout the day
- Weed whipping for extended periods
- Working with mínimal supervision for most of the day

**Salary**:minimum wage
