**LOCATION: Hamilton, ON (Near Lincoln M. Alexander Pkwy/403)**
- Looking for **mature** qualified **Personal Support Workers **to start **immediately **with a new client in Hamilton
- **Client Description**:88 yr old, female, lives alone, looking for assistance with basic Activities of Daily Living
- Day shifts **ranging between 10am-7pm** & **weekends** (7 days a week)
- Personal Care & Companionship, Meals, Light House Keeping Assist, Monitoring to prevent Falls **FALL RISK**

**PSW Role**:

- Assistance with personal care, activities of daily living - personal hygiene and grooming
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers
- Assist with light household duties - meal planning and preparation, general light housekeeping, organization
- Companionship - Enriching activities and social engagement to enhance quality of life

**PSW Qualifications Required**:

- Valid work/study permit (if applicable) and/or College Diploma
- Vulnerable Sector Screening(Police Clearance)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Current Tb test
- Up-to-date Immunizations (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B) considered **an asset**
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving, and excellent team player

**COVID-19 Requirements**:
**WE REQUIRE YOUR PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION. OUR CAREGIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO CONTINUE MASK USE WITH OUR VULNERABLE CLIENTS**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
