**Human Resources Specialist - #NU-22-2024**

Permanent 1.0 FTE, Full Time Position Available - 35 hours per week

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources (HR) Specialist is accountable for the development, implementation and monitoring of identified areas of responsibility. This role will focus on Labour Relations and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in facilitating the relationship between the organization and its employees by developing, implementing and maintaining labour relations strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. The Human Resources Specialist also provides leadership and support to the organization by promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment for all. The role requires a strong understanding of EDI principles and the ability to influence and drive change. The HR Specialist operates in accordance with Wesway’s philosophy, collective agreement, policies and procedures and applicable Ministry guidelines and legislation.
