**Position Summary**

The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving stock, shipping out orders and transfers, and serving customers for pick up orders.

As a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver you will be working with our logistics team and Third Party carriers to arrange deliveries. During the day you will be the primary contact for customers picking up orders placed with our sales team.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

  • Prepare orders for our company trucks to deliver to customers or transfer between branches (pull materials, package and label appropriately, place orders in pick-up or shipping area as indicated on paperwork)
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and follow company procedures when damaged goods arrive Maintain inventory levels in showroom
  • Communicate with customers, branches and carriers when required to make shipping arrangements
  • Complete shipping logs and forklift safety
  • Count inventory
  • Maintain forklift in order, advise supervisor of repairs required
  • Ensure quality service by following company standards
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment which includes warehouse, packing lot, showroom and washrooms
  • Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned

**Qualifications**

  • 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced Shipping/Receiving environment
  • Strong attention to detail both written and spoken
  • Experience with warehouse equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
  • Experience operating forklift an asset
  • Experience shipping and receiving dangerous goods an asset

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
