**About us**

town/CITIZEN is looking for a full time dishwasher or 2 part time dishwashers to join our team.

Experience is an asset but not necessary, we are happy to provide training. Strong work ethic, good organizational skills and ability to work nights and weekends is essential. We provide staff meal as well as include our dishwashers in the tip pool. Our kitchen is a fun and respectful workplace and we do provide the opportunity for advancement if there is a desire to learn. We do use the same kitchen for both restaurants so it can be a fast paced and busy position but treated as a highly valued member of the kitchen team.

Starting wage is $16/ hour additionally there is a bi-weekly tip out, staff meal, and employee discounts while dining in the restaurant. Benefits can be available to full time employees after a probationalry period.

**Duties**:

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher and by hand
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Assist with minor food preparation if needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including lifing and carrying supplies and deliveries
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly / gather and dispose of recycling in appropriate containers
- Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dishwashing area
- Assist cooks and other staff as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
