**Overview**

We’re seeking a **reliable and experienced Part-Time Barista** to join our team at AM Café. This role is perfect for someone with flexible availability who can commit to working **Weekends,**and providing **on-call support** when the head barista requires coverage.

**Experience and Skills**
- 1-2 years of experience as a barista in a café or restaurant.
- Familiarity with operating coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
- Proficiency in crafting various beverages, including espresso-based drinks, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Knowledge of plant-based milk options and the ability to prepare them effectively (e.g., frothing oat, almond, or soy milk).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Capability to work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to quality standards.
- Operate the POS system for transactions and manage cash handling accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
