**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport heavy equipment and freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload equipment using heavy machinery as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and loaders.

- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
