Kitchen Porter

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Wash, dry, and store dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils promptly and efficiently.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and hygiene standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
