Welding Trainer

An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking experienced Welders.

Required Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 12 years of solid experience in TIG and MIG welding
- Thorough knowledge of welding aluminum parts. Experience in sheet metal industry is an asset
- Exceptional skills in cosmetic / high-quality welding
- At least one year of experience in providing on the job training to novice welders / apprentice

Desired Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, or provide repetitive instructions frequently
- Ability to continuously monitor trainees’ skills and gaps in the competencies
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to the trainees in a positive and encouraging manner
- Ability to work in close coordination with the department coordinators, supervisors, and production managers
- Strong communication skills. Fluent spoken English is a must, and familiarity with other languages is an asset
- Demonstrated patience, strong listening skills and empathy during training or coaching
- Strong work ethics with regards to Safety, Quality, and Professionalism
- Working knowledge of MS Office suites for frequent reporting
- Flexible with the timings to accommodate junior welders working in morning, afternoon and weekend shifts

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
