**Marketing Coordinator**

The Bruce Oake Recovery Centre is a **50-bed live-in substance use health and addiction treatment facility** that provides participants with a full continuum of evidence-based care.

Lived experience of mental health challenges and/or substance use and recovery is considered an asset.

**Reporting to the Manager of Executive Operations, the Marketing Coordinator will**:

- Support the creation and execution of **marketing and social media strategies** to enhance engagement.
- Manage and grow the Centre’s presence on **Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms**.
- Assist in **event coordination**, including internal and external communications.
- Capture and create **photo and video content** for events and social media platforms.
- Monitor **social media analytics** to gather insights and optimize content strategies.
- Assist in the design and production of **marketing materials, posters, pamphlets, and graphics** for events and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain **contact and distribution lists** for outreach initiatives.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support for the **Executive Coordinator**.
- Assist with **coordination of facility tours** and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Other marketing, outreach, and administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications/Experience/Skills**:

- Completion of a **high school diploma** (post-secondary diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred).
- Minimum **1 year of experience** in marketing, social media management, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- **Strong written and verbal communication skills** with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Basic **graphic design and content creation skills** (experience with Canva, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop is an asset).
- Excellent **memory, organizational skills, and attention to detail**.
- Willingness to **learn and adapt** in a dynamic environment.
- A passion for **equity-based, person-centered care** and community engagement.

**Additional Requirements**:
Due to funding from the **Manitoba Urban/Hometown Green Team Grant**, applicants must:

- Be a **Canadian citizen, permanent resident,** or hold **refugee protection status** under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Be **legally entitled to work** in Canada under relevant provincial/territorial laws.
