Looking for a responsible and compassionate individual to rent a newly renovated studio basement suite in a quiet and safe neighborhood. This cozy suite is ideal for a single tenant and is available for immediate move-in.
**Suite Features**:

**Rent & Unique Care Arrangement**:
- Monthly rent: $1000
- Tenant will be reimbursed up to $25/day for providing basic domestic assistance and companionship to the elderly landlord, approximately 5 days a week (30 minutes each morning and evening). This amounts to up to $550 per month in additional compensation.
- Rent is contingent on this arrangement, and if the landlord transitions to alternative care, the rental agreement may end.
**Care Responsibilities**:Morning Duties (30 minutes)**:
- Greet and check in with Madeleine (elderly landlord)
- Prepare coffee and a simple breakfast
- Provide brief companionship
- Bring garbage and recycling to the curb (as needed)
**Evening Duties (30 minutes)**:
- Heat a frozen or pre-packaged meal
- Offer short company during dinner
- Record any relevant notes in a visit log
This role does not require medical assistance but does require previous experience providing aid or domestic assistance. A willingness to engage with kindness and reliability is a must.
**Additional Details**:
- Non-smokers only
- Small pets will be considered, though space is limited.
- Month-to-month rental agreement
