**Position Available**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Directing and controlling the flow of traffic around construction sites to ensure safety.
- Communicating with drivers, pedestrians, and construction crews using hand signals, stop/slow paddles, or radios.
- Monitoring road conditions and adjusting traffic control as needed.
- Setting up and removing traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signs.
- Following safety regulations and ensuring compliance with local traffic laws.
- Preparing construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
- Lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Operating and maintaining construction equipment and power tools
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
- Clean and maintain work areas, including sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing tools.
- Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a safe, clutter-free environment.
- Supporting other trades as required

Job Requirements:

- 1+ years of construction industry experience preferred
- Full-time availability
- Traffic Control Certification is required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic carpentry is an asset
- Solid understanding of construction processes
- Basic tool and power tools knowledge an asset
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures an asset
- Knowledge of basic electrical, and plumbing techniques is an asset
- Familiarity with basic construction principles and procedures is preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to learning
- Construction-related certifications an asset

Pay: $19.52-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
