We are hiring a **Dispatch Specialist** to take a leadership role in our dispatch operations. The Specialist will oversee the dispatch team, act as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensure the smooth execution of all logistics activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the dispatch team, providing guidance and oversight.
- Book loads and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipments and service.
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor driver performance, compliance, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve escalated issues quickly and professionally.
- Report on operational performance and provide input for process improvements.

**Qualifications**
- **3+ years of dispatch experience** in a logistics or trucking environment.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of North American trucking lanes, regulations, and load booking.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and urgency.
- Proficiency in dispatch/TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
