The MLTF Detection and Regulatory Screening Team has an analyst position to fill. Join the large Financial Crime Management team where you’ll report to the Manager - Financial Crime Management. As an MLTF Detection and Regulatory Screening Analyst, you will help ensure that MLTF regulations and international sanctions are followed and will help fight against money laundering. We offer flexible work schedules, which include working remotely in accordance with operational needs.

**Your main challenges**:
- Help detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
- Become well versed in the FINTRAC and OSFI MLTF guidelines
**More specifically, you will**:
- Handle alerts related to the detection and monitoring of Politically Exposed Persons
- Maintain sound risk management on a daily basis
- Participate in the development and implementation of new work processes and systems
- Perform research, collect information, and compile data to document files in a clear and factual manner
**Required competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR university certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and one year of relevant experience OR a three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the banking industry
- Knowledge of MLTF legislation, regulations and guidelines, an asset
- Sound knowledge of Word and Excel
- Good analytical skills and ability to synthesize information
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
