Located in Toronto, we are a dynamic player in the seafood industry. We are looking for an individual to start immediately with us as a Supply Chain Coordinator. The Company is an importer and supplier of frozen foods to the USA and Canadian foodservice, retail, and manufacturing sectors. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Works related to Import & Export logistics
- Planning shipments including creating and updating shipping schedules
- Purchase orders and Sales orders preparation
- Contacting truckers to get rates & to dispatch pick-ups and deliveries in the US and within Canada
- Freight Rate Inquiries and negotiation
- Communicate shipping status to customers timely, Interact with internal and external contacts and maintain excellent customer relationship
- Transfers East/West between warehouses
- Freight between local warehouses
- Troubleshooting any logístical issues that arise
- Coordinating customs clearance and deliveries of inbound shipments
- Acting as a point of contact for customers and carriers
- Deal with damage, shortage, customer deduction, investigate involved parties and process claims
- Related Billing approval
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Previous logistics and transportation experience is required with a minimum of 2 years.
- hands on experience and quick learner
- Supply chain and logistics education an asset
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ERP system, preferable Sage ACCPAC
- Thrives under pressure
- Mandarin speaking may be required for the job

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- logistics: 2 years (preferred)
