**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team working with children with **High Needs and Varies Diagnoses**. In this role, you will support the educational and developmental needs of young children in a nurturing environment. Your primary focus will be to assist lead teachers in implementing engaging activities, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and ensuring the well-being of each child. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in the lives of children.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing daily lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those with disabilities, ensuring their participation in classroom activities.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to lead teachers as necessary.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and educational games to enhance their social and cognitive skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, including preparing materials for lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

**Skills**
- Classroom experience is preferred to ensure familiarity with early childhood settings.
- Experience working with people with disabilities is highly valued to support inclusive practices.
- Strong teaching skills to effectively engage young learners in various activities.
- Background in early childhood education is beneficial for understanding developmental milestones.
- Experience with children in caregiving or educational roles is essential for providing quality care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week

Work Location: In person
