We are looking for talented, experienced, copper/fiber repair technicians who are looking for a great team to work with. Based in Winnipeg Manitoba, we are Central Canada's fastest-growing Fiber Splicing company.

ACME Technical Services would like to add experienced copper/fiber repair technicians to our expanding team.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ year of Copper/Fiber Repair and network construction experience - installing, repairing and testing Copper/fiber cable in a variety of environments (underground, indoor, aerial)
- Experience working on BellMTS networks
- Experience using tools and systems related to UG and Aerial Communications Network Construction and understanding of outside plant UG and aerial plant pathways and cable installation methodologies
- Experience working in Manholes
- Experience working at heights on ladders required
- Copper/Fiber handling, termination, splicing and documentation
- Plan/map reading and Communications Network Documentation experience
- Experience using fusion splicers
- Ability to terminate cable utilizing a variety of connectors
- Proficient in performing testing utilizing JDSU/Exfo TDRs, and documenting
- Ability to troubleshoot Copper networks
- Ability to work in remote locations
- Ability to lift 50LBs
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to drive and operate Utility trucks
- Valid driver's license and clean driving history
- Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time
- Willing to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays if required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$35.00 per hour
