**HR Generalist Interim (12 month Contract - Maternity Leave)**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced full-time Human Resources Professional to join our Calgary office as Interim HR Generalist for a 12 month Maternity Leave coverage contract.

This role will be based at our Head Office in NE Calgary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Developing and delivering training programs and workshops.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Overseeing performance management and career development initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Administering benefits and compensation programs.
- Supporting strategic HR and training projects.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Post-Secondary Degree, Diploma or Certificate in the Human Resources field.
- **Work Experience**: 2+ years in a HR generalist or similar role under mínimal supervision.
- **Certification**: CPHR designation is advantageous but not required.
- **Recruitment and Employee Relations**: Experience in these areas is essential and required.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable: Understanding of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
- Training Expertise: Capability to design and deliver training programs.
- Problem-Solving: Effective conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented: High accuracy in managing HR records and compliance.

Pay: $47,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
