Supply Ontario is seeking a **Manager, E-Supply Chain Solutions** that would be responsible for leading the management and development of transformation initiatives, strategies, programs, projects, and services that support and enable improvement, automation, streamlining and e-enablement of supply chain management processes for Supply Ontario, the Ontario Public Sector (OPS) and all other public sector customers.
You will be accountable to lead enterprise-wide projects to drive efficiencies, value streams, automation, and improvements by utilizing technology to achieve enablement and transformation goals.
**In this role, your key responsibilities will include**:
- Lead, coach, mentor and provide strategic direction a team of resources to enable business delivery on established programs.
- Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of large-scale change management initiatives that drive change through the development and implementation of technology projects and change management activities that result in high levels of adoption, acceptance, and engagement across OPS and other public sector customers to ensure transformation success.
- Leading the creation and execution of a strategic roadmap to outline the direction of change and transformation initiatives of operational processes and programs which also supports related technology projects outside of the functional area.
- Providing direction to cross-functional project teams and articulates ideas, goals, processes, resources, culture, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and issues. Encouraging participation and models leadership, commitment, innovation, and responsible risk-taking to represent, reward and support the team. Models results-focused, innovative team-building style of situational leadership; develops own staff and provides training and guidance for others. Inspires and motivates colleagues and team members through personal example.
- Frequently reviewing and assessing ongoing and potential transformation initiatives by undertaking research and analysis to prioritize efforts to automate and streamline supply chain processes and programs and ensuring ongoing relevance to Supply Ontario strategies through greater use of technology. Maintaining awareness and knowledge of public and private sector supply chain management and customer service trends.
- Providing senior leadership for the development, submission and presentation of specific transformation plans that support process streamlining and modernization through the use of technology or process change and prepares resources estimates and presentations for executive decision-making that enable Supply Ontario to meet transformation goals.
- Undertaking analysis to determine changes and projects required supporting enterprise, Supply Ontario change initiatives and leads the development and implementation of innovative projects and initiatives that leverage technology and/or best practices to drive efficiencies and improvements in supply chain and related processes for OPS and other public sector customers.
- Planning and managing projects, assessing the needs, and competing priorities, to ensure goals are achieved within allocated resources and ensuring all activities, policies and procedures comply with Supply Ontario’s corporate and legal requirements.
- Establishing governance structures to coordinate the management of the strategic roadmap including engaging with appropriate internal/external partners and stakeholders to support decision-making and the strategic development and implementation of procurement technology initiatives.
- Providing leadership and advice on real and potential issues affecting procurement modernization and e-enablement, procurement technology and customer service activities.
- Ensuring that briefings notes, and correspondence are prepared appropriately for the executive leadership team to support effective decision-making.
- Managing assigned human resources including budget, recruitment, training, and development opportunities, determining performance standards, managing employee performance, conducting performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring for leadership development within the Department and across the Branch, planning for successions management and handling a broad range of employee and labour relation matters.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to leverage opportunities and practices or to extend opportunities for collaboration on transformation initiatives.
- Partners with other Supply Ontario managers, other central agencies and technology and business partners to ensure alignment of resources and priorities, development of strategies that reflect the priorities and needs of partners and stakeholders to address opportunities and resolve issues that support organizational goals and drive success.
