Canstar Mechanical Ltd is a family owned company specializing in commercial, institutional, and light industrial plumbing / mechanical projects. (NO MULTI FAMILY RESIDENCES OR HIGH RISES).

**Duties include**:

- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications of the assigned project(s)
- Plan and layout mechanical services for plumbing and HVAC piping
- Install mechanical services per the drawings and specifications
- Order materials as necessary to ensure sufficient material for the week is on site.
- Comply with the job site QAQC requirements.
- Read and understand the site health and safety policies, Ensure all rules and regulations are being followed while working on site.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when preforming all duties
- New and existing accounts -execute maintenance activities and stay current with applicable regulations.
- Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes.


**Qualification**:

- Ticketed Journeyman Plumber
- Gas “B” ticket
- A minimum of 4 years construction related experience
- Own tools, (general hand tools)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised and follow directions
- Well organized, Neat and detail oriented
- Prompt, Reliable and Dependable
- Commercial Experience
- Bondable
- WHIMIS
- Scissor Lift Certified
- Fork Lift Certified
- Confined Space Training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
