**Role**:
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Ensures the timely payments of vendor invoices to fully capitalize on cash discounts.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Codes and enters expenses and product invoices.
- Ensures payment terms are respected as well as payment type (check, EFT, etc.)
- Responsible for resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and open purchase orders.
- Research and resolve aged purchases orders/invoices and follow-up.
- Complete other related tasks to accounts payables.
- Respects policies and procedures as per FAMM
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Manage Dispute Log and collaborate with buyer.
- Process check runs and send to finance team to print.
- Vouch SMS invoices and balance to intercompany weekly.
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you)**:

- 2-4-year progressive experience within accounting and/or finance, with knowledge of accounts payables or a degree in Finance and Accounting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Bilingual (English & French) an asset
