**Position Summary**:
The Branch Manager is committed to achieving Doidge Building Centres Ltd’s sales and service goals by overseeing all store standards and operations including but not limited to: Doidge Building Centres Ltd’s customers, team members, financial performance, inventory management, operational adherence to Doidge Building Centres Ltd’s policy and standards, and growth in market share.
**Location**:
This position is at the RONA store in Kincardine, Ontario.
**Wage**:
Determined based on experience
**Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to**:
- Clearly outline and communicate sales objectives and expectations to all team members on a daily basis
- Motivate and influence sales performance with positive feedback and recognition
- Build strong and lasting relationships with our retail, professional and contractor customers
- Supports the sales team by responding to customer concerns that are out of their scope of decision making; responds in an appropriate manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develops the management team to maximize their individual and team contributions. Includes training, motivating, and coaching. Sets clear expectations for service and sales performance results
- Effectively anticipates store needs within store’s labour budget
- Works together with the management team to maximize profitability; work within budgets and control expenses through close monitoring of payroll, inventory management, shrink and other store expenses
- Maintains current market trend knowledge and knowledge of competitor strategies; utilizes these to develop creative marketing approaches (Assortments/Pricing/Service)

- High level organizational and analytical skills with a strong focus on follow-up.
- Ability to handle a large volume of day-to-day issues as well as balancing multiple priorities.
- Leadership capabilities. Proven ability and commitment to managing the performance of others.
Able to motivate, train, and coach others to a higher level of success and accountability.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proficient math skills.
- General knowledge of the building construction industry.
- Retail management and sales experience in the hardware and contractor business an asset.
- Flexible availability based on store needs (includes evenings and weekends).
- Knowledge of inventory management, ordering, and receiving procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in preparing a budget, reading financial reports, and analyzing data.
- Equipment experience (Forklift, Reach, Moffatt, Cut Shop equipment) and first aid trained an asset.**Doidge Building Centres Ltd. background.**

Pay: Up to $123,456.00 per year

**Experience**:
