We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company. Our Warehouse Management System includes voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning. Our distribution includes electronic signatures running on Truckmate. Our operations actively support Lean Six Sigma concepts.

**Working Days & Hours**:Sundays-Thursdays (11:00pm-7:30am)**

**Position Overview**:
Working independently with some guidance from the Dispatch Supervisor, directs and dispatches a fleet of company and third-party carriers to carry out tractor service activities supporting Linehaul and ContainerWorld freight movement. Responsible for efficiency and effectiveness or own work and may also be responsible for efficiency and effectiveness of others in their area/department.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Efficient dispatch of company and third-party carriers for tractor service activities**.
- Review workload and schedule resources as needed
- Assign tasks to drivers
**Equipment tracking and control**
- Conduct daily yard read. Responsible for tracking all inbound and returned rental equipment
**Payroll preparation and entering**
- Review driver trip sheets and enter times on payroll template
**Creating outbound BOL’s**
- Entering information for RDC and CW loads to LDB in Truckmate
**Provides Backup and Support to other areas**
- Provides backup/support and vacation coverage as required
**Other activities as assigned.**

**Required skills, knowledge and abilities**:

- Some Post-Secondary courses plus 2 to 3 years related experience; or specialist certificate/diploma
- Good problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
