**ADAS?**

ADAS, or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, refers to a range of safety technologies that assist drivers in driving and parking functions. These systems use sensors, cameras, radar, and LiDAR to detect the vehicle's surroundings and help prevent accidents. In the role of an **ADAS and Diagnostic Technician**, you will be responsible for calibrating these systems and diagnosing any issues to ensure vehicles are operating safely and in compliance with manufacturer standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform ADAS calibrations on various vehicle models using manufacturer specifications and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems, focusing on ADAS components (cameras, radar, sensors, etc.).
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues in vehicles and develop a repair strategy.
- Calibrate vehicle safety systems, such as lane departure warnings, collision avoidance, and adaptive cruise control, following repairs or adjustments.
- Conduct pre and post diagnostic tests on automotive systems.
- Provide clear, accurate explanations of diagnostic results and repair plans to the customers.
- Keep detailed records of repairs and calibrations for future reference and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, automotive technology advancements, and manufacturer procedures.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and assist in lab tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field is a plus.

**Technical Skills**: Familiarity with ADAS technology is a plus but not required.

**Interest**: Passion for learning about automotive diagnostics, ADAS calibration, and new technologies.

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a basic computer and technology skills, a good understanding of geometry/ mathematical skills.
