**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Accurately measure, package, and label prescriptions.

Maintain an organized and clean pharmacy environment.

Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.

Process prescription orders and handle customer transactions.

Assist with prescription insurance billing and resolve any issues related to coverage.

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.

Handle telephone inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

Current and valid OCP technician license preferred.

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Assistant is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in pharmacy software (Kroll).

Injection training is highly desirable.

**Working Conditions**:
The position requires standing for extended periods.

Monday to Friday 9-5 (some flexibility possible).

Occasional weekends (approx 1 Saturday per month, 4 hour shift).

Paid 1 hour lunch.

Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
